Subject: [ACNET] ACNA Meeting in Chicago - Thank You APO AA Midwest
Brothers and sisters,
I just got back from a very successful and productive ACNA Meeting
held at the Wyndam Hotel in Chicago.
I would like to thank our gracious host, APO AA Midwest and its
members, most especially to President Pet Ramos, PP Manolo Comprado,
VP Dante Castillo, Lito Pier (APO Midwest's ACNA
Liason/Coordinator) , Peng del Mundo, Nonie Ramos, Gary Hernal,
Bernie Castillo and Guy Hofilena. Thank you to all the sisters, most
especially sis Grace who help prepare our meeting materials. Thank
you to your spouses too.
Except for the humidity, everything was perfect.
We will continue to hold future ACNA's meeting in your beautiful
city.
Details of the meeting will be prepared by the Secretary, Alex
Dulay, and will be available.
Highlights:
Approval of the Program of Activities for 2007-2008
Approval of the Budget for 2007-2008
Appointments of the following brothers:
Brod Jun Tapay - ACNA INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS COORDINATOR
Brod Noly Pleyto - Overall ACNA ID Officer
Brod Mar Garchitorena - Ways and Means Chairperson
Brod Boy Medina - THE COUNCIL Editor
Brod Teddy Ramos was elected ACNA Chairman of the Board
Sis Cora de Jesus was elected ACNA Board Secretary
Lastly, I would like to thank all the Alumni Association President
and their representatives who were able to attend the meeting and
those that actively participated in the ACNA Board egroup
discussions. These pre-meeting discussions proved valuable in
preparing us for the actual Board and Executive Meeting. Everyone
were better informed coming in and withe their individual alumni
associations already aware of what would be discussed, thereby
allowing them to have been given the opportunity to give their
inputs in their AA GMM.
I'm looking forward to our next meeting in Vancouver this coming
Labor Day weekend 2007.
But before that, a lot of us will be heading to Tagaytay to attend
the coming APO Phils. National Biennial Convention.
